RESIDENTIAL BRUSH PICKUP PROGRAM<\/strong><\/p>\n

St. Charles Township Road District has contracted with Kramer Tree Specialists, Inc. to pick up the brush in unincorporated St. Charles Township.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Here are the following procedures that must be followed to ensure your brush being picked up:<\/strong><\/p>\n

Brush\/limbs are to be out by the road, not in the road, no later than 7:00 am<\/span> on the Monday<\/span> of that scheduled week pick up;<\/strong><\/p>\n

Maximum diameter is 12 inches;<\/strong><\/p>\n

Maximum length is 12 feet;<\/strong><\/p>\n

Stack brush in large piles, not several small piles like before, with the cut ends facing the road, keeping away from mailboxes, utility poles\/boxes, hydrants and parked cars;<\/strong><\/p>\n

Brush should be placed in the front or side parkway and will not be picked up from vacant lots;<\/strong><\/p>\n

Do not tie or bundle brush\/limbs or put brush\/limbs in containers or bags;<\/strong><\/p>\n

Do not place stumps, roots, landscape material, lumber, firewood or foreign objects in piles;<\/strong><\/p>\n

This program is strictly for residentially-generated brush only, NOT FOR CONTRACTOR REMOVALS OR TRIMMINGS;<\/strong><\/p>\n

IF YOU HIRE A TREE SERVICE TO TAKE A TREE DOWN, THEY ARE RESPONSIBLE FOR HAULING ALL BRUSH;
\n<\/strong><\/p>\n

We also WILL\u00a0 NOT PICK UP AFTER ANY LOT CLEARINGS;<\/strong><\/p>\n

Residents with brush\/limbs exceeding the requirements for the Residential Brush Pickup Program can contact a private service to have them removed at the resident’s expense;<\/strong><\/p>\n

If your brush was out at 7am on Monday of the scheduled pickup week and not collected by the end of the workday on Friday, please notify the Road District no later than the following Monday<\/span>.\u00a0 For calls on missed brush received after that Monday, they will be picked up on the next scheduled brush pickup;<\/strong><\/p>\n

The scheduled dates for pickups will start the beginning of that week scheduled and should be done by Friday.
\n<\/strong><\/p>\n

DATES FOR 2026 <\/span>– pickups start on the 4th Monday of each month and YOU DO NOT HAVE TO CALL FOR PICKUP.<\/span><\/strong>
\nThe starting dates begin on the 4th Monday of each month and are not necessarily the last week of the month.\u00a0 The following are the dates for the weeks of pickup<\/em><\/span> for St.Charles Township.\u00a0 Remember it takes a full week, weather permitting to pickup brush on 90 miles of roads!<\/strong><\/p>\n
