{"id":101,"date":"2011-04-05T10:46:39","date_gmt":"2011-04-05T10:46:39","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.stcharlestownship.org\/dev\/?page_id=101"},"modified":"2026-06-10T14:42:43","modified_gmt":"2026-06-10T19:42:43","slug":"parcel-info","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"http:\/\/www.stcharlestownship.org\/index.php\/assessor\/parcel-info\/","title":{"rendered":"Parcel Information"},"content":{"rendered":"<h3><a href=\"http:\/\/www.stcharlestownship.org\/parcel_info\/stcinit.asp\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Parcel Search<\/a><\/h3>\n<p><strong>Before contacting the St. Charles Township Assessors office regarding your assessment, please review the recent sales in your neighborhood.\u00a0 Sale prices for homes over the past three years have continued to increase.\u00a0 The price that homes are selling for is what sets the assessment value on all properties in the Township and Kane County.\u00a0 <\/strong>The tax rates for the 2026 tax year assessments payable 2027, will be established by the Kane County Clerk in April, 2027.<\/p>\n<p>The St. Charles Township Assessor&#8217;s Office has established assessments for the 2026 tax year.\u00a0 Those values have been submitted to the Kane County Supervisor of Assessments office for review and an Equalization Factor of 1.0662 has been applied.\u00a0 Assessments will be published on June 18, 2026 with the last date to appeal at our office being July 20, 2026.\u00a0 If not, and the taxpayer wants to further appeal to the Board of Review at Kane County, information and appeal form for their office must be in by the end of the day, July 20, 2026.<\/p>\n<p>Please go to the St. Charles Township Assessor&#8217;s website under Parcel Search to view the information about your property.
