YOUR HELP IS NEEDED
The Road District works continuously to provide the best, most efficient service to you using the most cost-efficient methods at our disposal. We are a small staff serving a wide geographic area consisting of a diversified economic and land-use group. What may work well in one area, may not in others, and we understand that.
We always try to be as accommodating to all Township residents as possible. As the resident, homeowner, or entrepreneur, you are the one most affected by positives and negatives in your neighborhoods. You, too, know when conditions change and need attention. Please communicate your concerns to us for prompt attention.

| Snow Plowing: |
Please move cars off the street when you hear the forecast
predicting a snowfall. It helps us to give you a better job.
Do not clean your driveway into the street. It presents
a hazardous condition to motorists and is against the Law. |
| General: |
Newly seeded or sodded grass or newly planted trees need
water. Please help us to water them. |
| Streetlights: |
Within the unincorporated Township, most streetlights are
maintained by ComEd. If you see a streetlight with a
burned out bulb, call ComEd customer service number
1-800-334-7661. Should a replacement not be made
within a reasonable period, please call our office. |
| Christmas Trees: |
The Road District picks up Christmas Trees discarded by
residents in the unincorporated areas of St. Charles Township
during the week immediately following New Years. Place
along roadside for pick-up. The trees will be shredded
in the Township’s chipping machine. The subsequent mulch
from those trees is available to all residents at the Township
garage at 1725 Dean Street, St. Charles. Please call
630-584-3496 to arrange a pick-up. Small truckloads of
mulch are available to all residents of St. Charles Township.

Please watch for construction signs and construction crews
working on a project. Slow down and be careful. |
